So just got out of the IMAX Fan Event Screening. Got my Keychain. :naughty:

I was a little shocked, the theater was only 1/3rd full. On opening night? for a movie like this? Shocked.
As for the movie itself. I enjoyed it. It's better then what the reviews have been saying. But i didn't feel like its one of the greats in the series sadly.

My Rankings of the Fox's X-Men Films:
  1. Logan
  2. X2: X-Men United
  3. Deadpool
  4. X-Men: Days of Future Past
  5. Deadpool 2
  6. X-Men: First Class
  7. The Wolverine
  8. X-Men
  9. Dark Phoenix
  10. X-Men: Apocalypse
  11. X-Men: Last Stand
  12. X-Men Origins Wolverine

I'm actually really looking forward to what Disney is going to eventually do with the X-Men, While I have really liked Fox's movies and what they did for the superhero genre, I think its time. A full refresh will be exactly what this franchise needs.

I definitely prefer that to those pin badges. Only problem with keychains though is that they just end up in a drawer somewhere... I hate actually using them on my keys, and I have so many cool ones I could never decide which to use anyway lol.

But, yeah... looking forward to seeing Marvel's take on X-Men. Shame Fox's had to go out like this though... their cast was perfect!

Not yet, bud. I always watch X-Men movies opening night, but I'm so tied up with house renovations right now, I had to postpone my viewing by a few days. I REALLY wish I could've supported it on opening weekend.
I saw your posts on Facebook earlier in the week... looks like you've been super hard at work dude!

Hopefully you get the chance to see this soon anyway, since I know how much of a fan you are. :)
