I don't understand the disdain for the design. I think it's excellent. I don't mind the back either. Its minimalist design is a good alternative to people who don't want to see all the X-Men around the package all the time. I'm thinking of grabbing this someday and putting it in my Best Buy slipcase to match with the whole Sentinel theme.

Also, once and for all, can someone answer if this steelbook is Full Gloss, Spot Gloss or Matte Finish? Thanks.

Got to agree, this is the best steel of this I have seen so far, and not a Jackman or Jlaw in sight, the only thing that put me off the hmv release originally was jackmans name, but thankfully they got rid of that and this just looks excellent (as for the finish I will have to wait to see it in hand Monday morning)

What was the Steelbook Price in Hmv Ireland if its a decent price I might still get it

it was 27.99 euro, seems to be the standard price lately for 3D steels.

totally agree, i like the simplistic yet elegant look of it, and no sign of the movie being all about jackman,,

Well, when I collected my Godzilla I got a £2 refund (paid the full £21.99 when I preordered). Fully expecting another £2 refund on Monday (I also paid full for X-Men).

As a package I'm not really impressed. Although it not bad and is artwork already released, IMO the front needed some more detail like embossing or debossing to give it a little more character.

I'm more than happy with this release. It's glossy. We should be commending FOX for apparently releasing more glossy Steelbooks. Sure, it would have looked great embossed or debossed but, small steps.

I'm sure I saw a photo where someone had taken the discs out and it was just plain black (unfortunately). I've searched through the usual places though and I can't find the photo. Perhaps someone can confirm?

tough question, it doesnt bring up a screen with them them all listed, you have to scroll through them. theres 7 or 8, Ive no idea what language some of them are as well
