The artwork is very different to the previous UK releases, .........

and for that I am truly grateful, as apart from "First class" the other three actual X-men movies are very bland & generic.

Definite buy from me and I love this cover.

Got my tickets to go see this at the weekend, so i'm hoping that they haven't screwed up another classic story like they did with the "Phoenix saga" in "Last stand", fingers crossed.

I just hope Belfast gets it. Didn't get Enders Game and we're owned by Hmv Ire/xtra vision too. Ill pop in tomorrow perhaps and ask

so glad Disney dont have their scum-sucking NWO heathen hands on the X-men franchise.... means Fox can concentrate on releasing a quality uk steelbook with titles on front, spine and hopefully full gloss with debossing like HMV's stunning Riddick steelbook from January

Great. Another mad dash and mucho expense to try and get to an HMV before bloody scalpers clean them out again. I find it easier to get hold of Korean limited editions than HMV exclusives!

I pretty much give up on Belfast getting anything in so I just ordered the French release. OK it's a bit more expensive(understatement) but the French steelbooks tend to be pretty impressive as a whole.

Yeah, looks very plain compared to the previous releases, wish they would stop using black so much as well. I will give this a miss and pick up a different version, when the time comes.

My sentiments. Huge potential for great artwork here, just wish somebody would make a magnetic lenticular that feature the both appearances of the characters from the First Class and the trilogy universes.

I'm confident (I hope) this is just placeholder art...it'd be a shame if it all black with a floating sentinel head, and only acknowledging Hugh Jackman (he's awesome, but should list more of the great cast if they choose to list cast members)

Since it's HMV exclusive, it's going to be a knock out. Will definitely be getting one of this on Day 1. I like to Sentinel placeholder. If it were embossed along with the movie title (and include inside artwork), it'll be a winner.
