I personally really like the look of this steel. Very simple. And glossy ... so no need for embossing or debossing.
Glad I got in on David's group buy.

Got mine this afternoon,, after the disastrous Kimchi affair!

There was one open on the shelf in the alphabeticals - it IS shiny, but not very shiny going by that copy.

UK for the win... it appears UK is the only glossy version out there. I like the steel and like it better with that HMV Exclusive circular sticker

I've never had any trouble getting opened, damaged steelbooks replaced in local stores or mail order stores.

Obviously you can't return it for refund, but as the case is a major feature of the product, of course you should be able to replace a damaged item with an undamaged one. (I've also had a few Blu-rays with broken amaray cases replaced. Same thing, case is part of the product)

Same here. My Edge of Tomorrow was dented underneath the j-card, so didn't notice until I unsealed it. When I showed them, there was no problem changing it. The guy said "you don't want that when you've paid more for the steelboook version." Quite right, too.

Yup, none of my copies are ever taped or tagged. Though i had to stick all the stickers on... lazy sods..

Picked it up in Edinburgh HMV. Nice job - when it's up on the shelf next to X-Men: First Class the dark gloss means I can barely see the face of the Sentinel so just see it's eyes glowing. Good addition to the collection especially as it's a cracking film (and my favourite comic of all time).

Gloss looks fab, emblems on back only seem visible on an angle, i like little things like that
