They must have missed a 0 out on the 200 left remaining when sending the email out. Come to think of it even 1,000 sold seems to be fantasy if you ask me.

Which one of you has ordered this steelbook and before going live wrote that you wouldn't order it because the artwork is so horrible?
I know there's a lot of you that did exactly that, so please be so kind and identify yourself. You won't be judged - not a lot at least :hilarious:
LOL

What are they 'being called out' on?

If it's the artwork then that's a bit harsh. It's not like Zavvi has any say over it. This is just another poor decision by Fox following on from their dour looking Batman: The Movie (with a rubbish front and stuntmen on the inside), that God-awful range featuring Speed, The Day the Earth Stood Still and The Rocky Horror Picture Show and the re-release of Robocop (with a giant Robocop in a tiny street). As I said, this seems to be the one and only image Fox have created for The Rogue Cut as it appears on every announced release worldwide.

Again, with the 3D, it's not going to happen. Fox have (to my knowledge) never released an extended edition of anything in 3D that was post-converted, yet waste time with 3D conversions of Predator and I, Robot (go figure).

I really don't get the point of complaining about these things. Nothing's going to change Fox's mind. They stuck to their guns with those previous designs, just as Disney will with Ratatouille and Anchor Bay did with their Punisher (with the wrong skull and title font). Besides, aiming your complaints at the retailer is a waste of effort. All you can do is complain to the studios and keep your wallets shut on release.

We don't actually know if Zavvi has any say over it but even if they don't they could still try and say something because at the end of the day Zavvi are trying to sell a product for them and if something gets a negative response which means people won't buy all the copies for full price (SOLD OUT my ass) then they have a legit reason to say something because all they would be doing is trying to help the studio make more money and themselves.

You don't see the point in complaining? Well good for you don't, no one is saying you have to. However other people like to TRY and fight for something they think is wrong.

Yeah maybe it won't work. Maybe they don't care. We're most likely wasting our time but at the end of the day at least we know deep down that we've tried to do something. That kind of thinking where it's "I don't see the point" is what these kind of people love because they know they can walk all over their comsumers. As I've said if you like that fine but you shouldn't down play it for people who actually want to. You never know what will happen.
