No worries. A lot members thought it was coming with a comic. Also, we thought it would have a black-ray case. Not sure why Best Buy referred their exclusive as a special package. They should have just referred it as an exclusive slipcover. Kinda disappointed with the exclusive but still getting it.
Well, if you've checked hidefninja's slipcover list you would have known there are two different slipcovers for The Golden Compass.
And that's the version members are looking for.
I came across a mint one. Looks really nice.
It's by far the best looking embossed slipcover in the slipcover world, imo. This one over powers the flat version.

Is the inlay cover artwork the same as the slip artwork or just the normal edition artwork?

I don't know anyone that likes the cover art , so many things they could have put on the cover and we get the desert planet

Yup me too. I actually like the 3D version better I think. Its shiny and embossed. Really nice job on that one. The BB Exclusive is pretty cool due to the fact I haven't seen another comic movie do the whole comic book cover art yet (there may have been but I am not aware). But they could have done much better.
They are both pretty cool, I just wanted the exclusive to be lenticular I guess
I don't think I've seen a comic book blu that came with a comic book cover printed on the slipcover. It's an exclusive, so it should probably be a good one to have.
I found out the most nicer Thor Slipcover is that 3D version.
BestBuy could be better if they are embossing or lenticular.
The normal 2D version is not my taste, because the design is too cram and messy look.
I am still wonder shall I take this 3D Thor version or the Japanese Thor Steelbook. What you guy think? Which one shall I take? (I don't care got 3D BD inside or not, I mean the packaging itself only)
