Your right this is a nice edition but it is a DVD edition unfortunately so give it a miss and Ill stick with Zavvi bluray steelbook.

I prefer the new look (had really liked the old look too, and ordered it as it was).

I was so excited when I heard Zatoichi (and 13 Assassins) were getting Steelbooks, but the art is just bad in my opinion. All the red doesn't match the movie at all and the fonts for both the English and Japanese are terrible choices; the English looks like what they used on 80s ninja B-movies or Chinese takeout containers and the Japanese is the default 'Times New Roman' equivalent font. Very disappointing.

Im like the exact opposite, i think this artwork is amazing, and would be awesome if it was full gloss with no emboss/debossing

Its all down to opinion though
