Thanks Ash, took your advice and made a single purchase for pickup and will have to get it on Wednesday at the soonest. Now I'll have an extra for someone that was not fortunate enough to pick one up or who is across the pond.

my question is how could it say available or not through in store pickup if no one is in the store to verify it...you should just make sure you call right when it opens to cover yourself!!!

Yes Rick is correct. Each store on the day before release date will have confirmed receipt of X copies. Once those numbers are confirmed, the web site gets turned on for in-store and delivery purchases. So it is very possible, as in Rick's case, for a store to have no stock for in-store pick-up even before the store is opened.

Alvin, it was available earlier on tonight - several orders were reported for delivery. But yes it looks like the warehouse inventory for delivery is done. Only chance left is in store pick-up and in person. Good luck.

To be safe, you should pick your order up as soon as the store opens this morning. The longer you wait, the greater the chance it won't be there when you get around to pick it up.

Looks great overall (has a lot going for it with embossing/glossy and clean) but the inside art is a bit lame as it's repeated on the disc. Should of had Jessica Chastain on the inside (imo).

Before an online order for in store pickup can actually be picked up in person, an email stating the order is ready for pickup will be sent out to that account's email address. Then the order will be held in reserve for 7 days until you show up with proper ID and the ready to pick up email (either in paper form or on your mobile phone) to pick up your item(s).

There is no risk of anything happening to your order when you'd received the ready to pick up email. The email is generated and sent out when your order is put aside before the store opens. Alternatively you can head to the store at opening and wait inside the store (of course securing an extra copy if you can) until that email shows in your inbox

I tried to order 3x and it said unavailable immediately. Then I tried 2x and...now it says unavailable.

So maybe they have 4x total? They were supposed to have 8.

I just placed an order for store pick-up of 2 copies as well. Hopefully it goes thru but it does say "availalble" so will see.

Sorry Ash, but many times when I have gone to pick mine up after receiving the email, they grabbed the amaray instead. Has happened many times, thats why I get there at opening.
