Nope, they will refund your card the difference later.

At least, that's been my experience.

From my personal expereince, you will have to call them to get a price adjustment or....
Pickup the steelbook for purchase, return it, and the buy it from the store at the lower price. And yes I think it is stupid, but that is my stores policy.

Do you know if they charge your card right away when buying online. I would check my statement but don't have one handy and forget if I saw it on my last CC statement or not.

They bill just for verification, then charge will go away. They charge for the actual item when it ships.

No, they are just on sale for the first couple of days.

Sometimes they'll have a sticker on the item, but a different price on the shelf or a tag. The pricing is dictated by the actual sku on the item, so as long as it's $22.99 in the backend system it should ring up correctly, regardless of what the sticker says.

Yep, almost always $5-10 cheaper on release week the jump back to the original price

Nothing yet, sorry. Right now we're only getting advance pictures from someone that works in a store - I doubt they want to open it before release day
