So its a very easy decision to purchase the Plain Archive Steelbook 100% purchase

Hopefully the live date to order is not till end of Jan

[뒤 늦은 새해 인사] <마스터> 스틸북 프리오더의 시작으로 2014년을 보내고 2015년을 맞이하는 정신없는 와중에 송년인사도 새해인사도 모두 늦었습니다. 지난 2014년 한 해 동안 저희 능력에 비해 실로 과분한 응원과 격려를 받으면서 하루도 맘편히 긴장을 놓은 적이 없었지만 실로 행복한 한 해를 보낸 것 같습니다.

여전히 운만 띄워놓고 출시가 늦어지고 있는 출시작도 여럿이고, 새해에도 오래 걸려 블루레이를 만드는 플레인 특유(?)의 느림은 여전할 것 같습니다만(-_-; 초심을 잃지 않고 부족한 점 하나하나 개선해가며 이 시장을 지탱해주시는 많은 분들과의 소통을 게을리 하지 않겠습니다. 적어도 작년보다 하나라도 나은, 아니 두 세 개쯤은 더 발전된 장점들을 발견할 수 있는 2015년의 플레인이 되리라고 다짐해봅니다.

이제 누구도 '희망'이라곤 찾지 않는 대한민국의 패키지 미디어 시장이라지만 지난 한해 힘겹게 고군분투한 관련 업체들과 관계자분들, 플레인을 믿고 프로젝트를 맡겨준 클라이언트 업체들, 저희와 함께 고생해준 파트너 업체들, 다재다능한 아티스트 분들, 좋은 글 보내주신 필자분들 역시 모두 수고하셨습니다. 모두가 올해보다는 조금 더 행복한 2015년이 되길 기원합니다.

한해를 정리하면서 지난 2014년 플레인이 출시했거나 타 회사의 의뢰를 받아 제작한 블루레이들을 꺼내어 모아봤습니다. 같은 영화의 여러 판본이 출시되었음을 고려하면 그리 많은 출시작을 내놓지는 못했지만 적어도 어느 작품 하나 적당히 만들지는 않았다고 스스로 작은 만족감을 가져봅니다.

PS. 아래 댓글이 달려 본문에 관련 내용 추가합니다. 고급형 킵케이스인 스카나보 케이스를 도입하면서 <제로 다크 서티>의 디지팩 출시 계획은 폐기하기로 하였습니다. 디지팩의 내구성이나 트레이 높이 차이로 인한 기존 풀슬립 케이스와 높이 불일치에 따른 통일성 문제, 트레이 본딩의 깔끔함 여부 등에 있어 지속적인 검토 결과 아직 국내에서 디지팩을 만들기에는 -플레인이 레퍼런스 기준으로 삼고 있는 일본 타이틀에 비해- 다소 미흡한 수준이라고 판단했습니다. 다만 스틸북에 대한 수요가 워낙 클 것으로 예상하여 킵케이스 버전은 극소량 (300~500장) 출시할 계획입니다.

I wasn't really interested in this but that is a nice looking steel and very much in keeping with the mood of the film overall. I'll be keeping an eye on this from now on!
