Plain responded to the question about the exclusive shipping box on facebook
This was their reply
We won't be shipping the ZDT exclusive box with another layer of box. The shipping cost would rise as a result, and we'd like to avoid that if possible. Please don't worry too much about safety –– we use enough bubble wrap to protect your Steelbook. Thanks for your understanding.

Thank you

I think when I'll go for the triple I will ask Plain afterwards if they ship mine in a normal box since I don't want to pay taxes only because of that :dead:

Since im receiving boxes without logos from them I asked already if they can ship my Rust & Bone order in an Plain Archive Box. This one counts more for me than a ZDT Box

Decided to just go the Paper Full slip. This will be the first time I will be attempting to purchase from PA. Does anyone know whether previous pre-orders have gone smoothly or has it been more like NovaMedia site. How long do you think before them being sold out?

I asked Plain Archive a question on Facebook

What's the Print Run for the Triple and Quadruple Packs for Local and International Customers and will you be limiting orders of the Triple and Quadruple Packs to 1 each per account or 2 each per account

I just got this reply from Plain on Facebook

1) We don’t set any print run numbers for the Triple or Quadruple Packs. If the 1/4 slip edition goes out of stock as an example, then that’s the end of it.

2) Two each per account.

Thank you

So this is a strange one if lot order the 1/4 Slip on its own then available Triple or Quadruple Packs could be very little especially if their is a delay between the individual edition's and the Triple/Quadruple packs going live

As its stands the Lenticular 1/4 Pet Slip print run for international customers is only 500

For those ordering the Quadruple Pack
ZERO DARK THIRTY Keepcase edition International customers is only 300

This is not going to be easy to get an order in for either the Triple or Quadruple Packs

Their Servers are a lot better very good but that also means the ability to be sold out faster

The Triple and Quadruple Packs could end up been sold out extremely fast

The Paper Full Slip I would take a guess at around 10 Min to max 30 Min

SUPER smooth. You won't have trouble with placing the order (like it dying at a certain spot on the checkout process).

If you haven't already, create your account now.

Secondly, it won't take that long to sell out certain editions, but some might stick around a while longer than others.

There's a lot of interest and hype right now, but I don't think anyone can say for certain how fast this will go.

Big Question
Do I risk trying to get an order in for either the Triple or Quadruple Packs

Do I go safe and add to cart the individual editions from the start I would of course pay $5.00 more and not get the exclusives extras of the packs

Worse case I must get an order in for the Paper Full Slip Steelbook at least

Good luck to all at live time this is going to be interesting to see who managed to get what after all is sold out

@paulboland

It really depends on how they set up it behind the scenes. If they have allocated X to triple pack and Y to the quad pack, then those will for sure sell out before a manual order of all 3 or 4.

Didn't this happen with Rust & Bone? They sold out of A&B and then it came back after a short time because they had extra of the single editions kicking around?

If that's correct, your safest play would be to login on 3 or 4 separate tabs, bring up each edition on your screen, add them to your cart, and check out way, avoiding the "pack".

But yes, you will end up paying extra, etc, but then again, you are ensuring your copy.

This "how to game the system" advice has been offered at no cost or obligation to you, but I take no responsibility for the accuracy or not of my post. ;)

Decisions, decisions.. Huge fan of PA, good movie but no double dips (normally)... 1/4 slip is the winner imo...however...it doesn't go well with the rest of the releases that I own (fullslip). Nice bonus gift also..

I'll go with one PET FS! Want something green! :D Mabye i change my mind again, still a few hours left..

Same here. As unique and awesome the PET slip is, I just can't justify spending nearly $100 for this film, as much as I liked it... And the art on the Paper slip is just too nice to pass up. Told myself that Interstellar would be my last double dip, despite how nice other editions end up looking for any future release.
