Actually I wouldn't mind this one having the same artwork as the German one! I love that steelbook, by far my favorite German one!

And for those of you who paid too much well that'll teach you not to trade instead!

I'm pretty sure it won't be the exact same artwork. I'd like it to be like the french slipcover which is just awesome, or any other variation of the same artwork!

I agree.... German steelbook is nice so would like the same artwork. The German one of this is probably one of the few with German writing on the back....

and im glad this is coming out i love this film and refuse to pay the inflated ebay prices for the german version so im not bothered too much how the artwork turns out i will buy this

When i noticed this thread and seen 3 pages i just knew they would be full of people moaning about the german version

Good on play.com but im sure they will make it their own and not copy the german artwork

Thank you Play.com. Glad that I don't have to spend all that money on the German version. Hopefully it will be a little bit different to keep the owners of the German version happy though.

I think you guys shouldn't worry too much about it having the same artwork like German version. Play did use different artwork for Shutter Island too.

relax everyone! I am sure the artwork is going to be different, just like Watchmen and all the others. The German one will always be highly sought as its the original release. The value may drop a little at the start and stay the same at the start. This version is good for anyone that doesnt have it. I'm happy with the German version regardless if Play released this or not. Same goes for Iron Man and Watchmen.

If this ends up being the same as the German version I am going to unload every single rare steel I have on ebay and amazon. Whats the point on collecting them if they are gonna reprint them?

It has been ages since I've started to check the prices on the German steelie but never found anything with a decent price...

Honestly, IMHO, I don't think the owners of the german release should be worried about any price drop on their versions as the release of the IM from play hasn't affected the prices for the famous FS version.
