In response to recent rumors that the Playstation 3 was about to lose the blu-ray capabilities in order to release a cheaper PS3 to move units Kim Nguyen who is Sony’s Marketing Manager quickly shot down all rumors.  Not a big surprise if you ask me, seeing as how the games are on BD discs.  He also shot down rumors of a PS3 price cut.  Sony also denied releasing a ps3 without online capabilities, or to introduce a fee for online play.  I applaud that last statement and especially the statement they issued saying online gaming is a first amendment right.  Glad to know they follow our constitution. Heh.
