Taxi Driver Coming to Blu-ray

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announced “Taxi Driver” for Blu-ray release on April 5th. The powerful film that defined De Niro’s career as an actor comes to Blu-ray for the first time marking the film’s 35th anniversary. Travis Bickle (De Niro), a traumatized Vietnam War veteran who takes a job as a night-time Taxi Driver in New York City. When he encounters a 12-year-old prostitute named Iris (Jodie Foster), Travis sets forth to rescue her from her pimp. The film has gone through a 4K digital restoration from the original camera negative, approved by cinematographer Michael Chapman and director Martin Scorsese. Check below for a list of supplements.
