MGM Home Entertainment has announced “Fiddler On The Roof” for Blu-ray release on April 5th. This date will mark the 40th anniversary of the film and the high definition debut. The best part about this release is the newly remastered 7.1 audio track that the studio will be providing. The story follows Tevye, a poor man whose faith help him face the oppression of Czarist Russia, and his wife Golde as they attempt to arrange suitable marriages for their five daughters.
