The 2013 steelbook was also £17.99

The £14.99 steelbooks with Zavvi was a good few years ago

Steelbooks are getting more re-releases than standard blu-rays these days

not sure if mentioned but this is the poster art from Japan's release. This and the Struzan been original art since forever. It will be iconic to Japanese market, no different than the Struzan art has been for us. I've been a fan of both since I appreciate the past of original illustrations etc. I realize not all do and are simply happy with like the white fox slipcover.

IF this was the original choice for the front of the first BIG TROUBLE UK steelbook, it's not hard to see why they decided on the better layout / more colourful / more Kurt Russell Struzan cover.

I get it . . . all that black represents "trouble" and the poster and steelbook with black nearly everywhere represents "big trouble" . . . but I still feel that the layout should be changed on the steelbook to that of the British release poster - i.e. less black at the top in particular allowing for a larger image of the stars and the title moved down on the left alongside Lo Pan instead of above.

MUCH BETTER steelbook layout:-

It's been over 30 years since this classic came out, I never tire from watching Big Trouble in Little China, I got the original release, trying to cut down on multiple steelbook releases but hard to turn this one down.

Very excited for this. It's one of my favorite movies, and I was hoping there would be another steelbook release so I could add it to my collection without overpaying. I personally think this artwork is great, perhaps better than the last release. The black looks really good.
