Hey BEC Dealhunters!

Black Friday (for those outside of US, this is a HUGE shopping holiday, the day after the US Thanksgiving holiday), is less than 50 days away, and ads will start to appear.

Since it's a bit cumbersome to have Hot Deals for Hardware, Blu-Ray etc in different areas, I think it's ok to post any type of entertainment deal in here.

Feel free to track and contribute to this thread. I plan to keep it updated throughout the Black Friday shopping frenzy with on/offline deals and more.

With all of our eyeballs on the net around the holidays, and your willingness to chime in, it would become a hoppin' thread:) All suggestions & deals welcomed!

Have fun,
:oohyeah:

Per Black Friday Net, Walmart's sale 11/6 and 11/7 will include:

"This is an email alert to let you know that Walmart recently announced that they will be having a huge pre-Black Friday sale this Saturday, November 6th at 8:00am both in-stores and online. The deals they are offering include a $50 iTunes Gift Card for $35, a Vizio 26" M260VA Razor LED LCD HDTV for $198, and a Compaq 15.6" CQ6-109WM Laptop w/Intel Celeron Processor, 2GB RAM, 250GB Hard Drive with Windows 7 Home Premium for $288. The laptop is definitely on the low end, but for only $288 it's a decent value.

Kohl's Ad now posted & added to OP-in case anyone is hunting for non-electronic deals for family or otherwise. Enjoy!

i just got a fat book full of best buy coupons in the mail yesterday. it had lots of specific deals on items, but what made me laugh was their money back coupons: $10 for $100, $25 for $250, $50 for $500

then i read the exclusions.

excludes pretty much everything in the store but video games, movies, cds and washers/dryers. no computers, almost no tvs, no apple/bose products, no video game hardware, and a ton of other exclusions.

lol

Hey Mobius-I got that book too. I didn't read the restrictions on them, but I know BB is notorious for those coupon "hooks"-meant to get you in the store, but not really good on what most people are looking for. They're hoping once there you'll suddenly feel the need to splurge (and I am sure some do). But I've heard on other forums that some BB stores have gotten a bit looser with those restrictions, so may be worth a try for some?:)

yah, my experience with dealing with BB employees trying to get those kinds of things have always been bad. seems like every best buy manager i run into has a god-complex

i pretty much steer clear of BB for anything but pre-orders now. too much of a bad taste left in my mouth. and now that i have amazon prime i pretty much never need to go there! :D

Hey Mobius-yes, I usually only shop at BB if I am helping someone from another country, or for some of their exclusives. But as a 10+ year Amazon shopper with Prime for the last few years, I've been spoiled by great service and deals. It's good to see more B&M retailers providing competitive pricing on Blu-Ray, now that the format has been more widely adopted-several years ago sub $10 prices were unheard of unless in a BOGO:) Happy Deal Huntin':)

Rumor: Sears Black Friday ad reveals Green and Red DSi hardware, new PSP and PS3 holiday bundles

gamsearsblackfriday530.jpg

Okay, guys. It's time to get yourself into a mental place where you can accept the fact that Black Friday is just around the corner. You there? You ready? Okay -- the entire Sears catalog for the holiest of shopping days has apparently leaked onto the web, revealing a whole mess of gaming offers, including:

Limited edition Red and Green DSi bundles for $150, which include Mario Party DS
160GB PS3 bundle for $300, which includes Uncharted 2 and a Blu-ray of (the new) Karate Kid
PSP 3000 bundle for $130, which includes LittleBigPlanet and a UMD of (the new) Karate Kid
4GB Xbox 360 bundle for $200, which includes Halo: Reach
$10 off the standard black Wii bundle
Discounts on games like Medal of Honor, Fable III and Halo: Reach, all of which will be available for $40

We've contacted Sears to get a comment on the catalog's authenticity. For now, check out the relevant gaming offers posted after the jump! (Side note: A full-on ping-pong table for $260? Don't mind if we do.)

that psp bundle is really cheap. $130 for a psp and a game is a crazy good deal!

i think the ps3 is getting hosed in that deal though. $100 more than anything else is gonna deter a lot of people away from it. im surprised they didn't include the move at that price.

Hi All, the full Target ad is now posted at popular BF sites. I'll add to OP. You can scroll through the ad by deal type (Electronics, movies, etc).
