Anyone planning to be there next year? I am, but I won't if Mexico doesn't make it there :p

Well, I'll be here anyways XD~

Seriously now, I think I'll be watching a game or two. The stadium for the opening game is near my house, and grandma lives even nearer, so maybe I'll grab a ticket to see some matches.

I would love to go in all honesty.

Brazil is definitely one of the countries that I have always wanted to visit and the buzz around the place will be fantastic.

The only problem for me being a Newcastle fan and Geordie is that I have absolutely no affiliation or pride in the national team whatsoever.

Hodgson is doing his best to bring that back as I have a lot of time for him. Honestly if Redknapp had have got the job at the time that would have been it for me.

The reason I feel ostracised if you like from the national team is that it is all far too London centric and I can't stand the majority of the squad. There's no pride there at all. When I was growing up England had Tony Adams, Terry Butcher, Alan Shearer, Stuart Pearce, Gazza and several others who you felt would give their all for England whereas I don't feel that now. Beckham was the last player I felt that pride with and you could see how much it meant to him.

I am utterly sick of seeing excuses made for the likes of Rooney, Gerrard, Lampard etc and how they can't handle any form of criticism or how the media wouldn't dare say anything negative about "Wazza", "Stevie G" or "Frank." Ashley Cole has been England's only real world class performer at international level over the past decade and he is sadly a monumental **** which says it all.

I wonder what the French National Team will invent, this time...

Deschamps needs to get over his issue with Ben Arfa.

In the last Euros Nasri, Ribery and Benzema did not look interested at all apart from passing to each other.

As always it will depend if the egos can be managed as you have a very talented squad. Far more talented than England's.

We all know Mexico is going to go and ruin the party :D

Might be going with my dad if ecuador qualifies which is looking very likely right now if they don't have a major collapse for last third of South American qualifiers.

Ben Arfa only brings problems with him... :(
Not sure he has a place in the national team.

Nasri is over. He will never be back in this national team...

You are right, we have some good young players : Matuidi, Pogba, Varane, Menez, Sakho... but with Benzema who doesn't remember how to score a goal, and a french tradition to be catastrophic one time in two World Cups...

1994 : not qualified !
1998 : winner
2002 : 0 goal scored EEK!
2006 : final - and a head kick :D
2010 : ridiculous with the bus.... :angry::angry::angry:
2014 : ????

Just seen PSG - Barça : Ibra was here ! :D

England and France are as bad as eachother ;) But at least our over rated players know how to score :p :D

You have Rooney : A goal machine...
We have Benzema : no goal in the last 1100 minutes...

Are you still thinking that we are as bad as each other ? :)

The best french team, PSG, has a swedish, a brazilian and two argentines as attackers.
No french guy, and that's normal ! Who could they buy ??? Nobody... :emb:

Stop arguing, U.S.A. will win our 1st World Cup in Brazil 2014!

I have some great memories of the US national team from my childhood !

1994 : US World Cup :D

You had a tall guy, with a lot of hair... Alexis Lalas !
I loved this player :)
