It reminds me of the temporary artwork for Thor: The Dark World. I don't see why they bother with any image at all unless it's the final artwork. It just confuses collectors. They should stick the question mark or 'Image Coming Soon'.

I'd be happy with that cover... But not ecstatic! I would say I hope they learn a lesson from the Thor TDW disaster but even that sold out so probably will be lazy again for the sake of cheaper production costs!

Yes.
Paramount used limited edition poster artwork for GI Joe so its been done before.

Abit of rejigging could be done.
I would say it wouldn't match anything else in the steelbook range but then again NOTHING matches each other so no big loss!

Also, I assume the reduced print run is due to Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 hanging around for so long. Maybe instead of reducing the print run, Zavvi should learn WHY they're not selling so fast. i.e. Price... Quality of designs.
