I begin to wonder if the unnumbered edition is really limited to 1000 copies because it's in stock for several days. Which is quite unusual.
No need to wonder; Commando unnumbered edition is still available, almost a year after the release date. Also 1000 copies.

There are many factors involved in how quickly a limited item sells out. Everest doesn't have quite the same level of general interest than, e.g., The Martian.

Yes like Ranavalone said, Commando still available, also Fast & Furious 7 and there's nothing unusual about Everest unnumbered being in stock. The Martian and As Above So Below unnumbered were sold out quickly, but quite understandable because there weren't many copies to begin with.
