Can't imagine why someone would want to own 23 copy's if the same film well with different slips!!
Someone is going to sell on at a huge profit!!!
I personally didn't want this version as the steelbook art isn't any different to the zavvi and that is what floats my boat, pretty selfish really as I'm sure there are lots of people who would love a copy of this.

he bought those well above retail... probably mostly off the bay... so if we're honest here, it really makes no sense to say that it's selfish because the opportunity was the same for anybody. if i buy up 10 copies of thor 2 kimchi off ebay right now is that selfish? no. it's just a decision. a very expensive obsession.

I have to agree with @jimmyv. If he would have sourced them directly from Kimchi, then it would have been a selfish move. It seems more likely that he purchased them off eBay- which is something anyone is still entitled to do at this point. Personally I love this exclusive, but I don't think it is worth the inflated prices currently being posted- as it is not drastically superior to the releases available worldwide. I think it has to do with the Frozen phenomena more than anything in particular. Kimchi's Tangled in my opinion is a better exclusive overall, as it has WEA and a lovely sharp lenticular. To each their own I guess

Also what I find strange and tell me if anyone else has noticed this? But the same number goes up for auction several times before it's actually sold. One example would be #33/700 sold for $276 but now it's up for auction again by the same person. Now I know sometimes the bidder cancels but it happens way too much. I think they are deliberately jacking up the price.

I actually sent an email to the seller because I was curious as well and he mentioned that the buyer did not pay. Apparently he gave the buyer two weeks or so and the buyer never responded to him, so he did the buyer did not pay case and put it back up on eBay.

No duh that's what they all say. #223/700 has sold like 4x. It happens way too much

I don't think this the case, given that every time it sells they are on the hook to pay eBay 10% of the final value.

Seems like a massive waste of time, effort and money.

Looks like Actarus has deleted his post, which is a pity. I do share his weakness in wanting multiples of those I really love, though not to his extent.

We shouldn't fault Actarus. That's the way it is. If you have the love and the means, then it's really one's choice. And it's not given that one would definitely sell at a profit.

So, thanks for sharing, Actarus. Hope one day you will sell some and I will be happy to trade for one. ;)
