I don't mind a disc-less release every once in a while when necessary, however I wouldn't want it to become the norm. If I'm shelling out big bucks for a movie release, I kind of want there to be an actual movie included...
Obviously we wouldn't want to pay close to normal prices for disc-less editions. Adding the 4K disc to recent FACs costs almost $20 US. Just taking that into account, how much less would a release with only SteelBook, Slip, and Goodies possibly cost? Could that mean buying something for $20 that normally sells for $35, I don't know. IMO that seems worth it if you already have the movie disc from another source...

I'd be thinking $20-$25 tops. No?

My HDZETA The Mummy and King Arthur were around $35 each and they are both 2 disc editions!!
Well, I thought that if HDzeta are going to go discless (whew, glad I spelled that correctly) I might as well just get the Target exclusive amaray release with that transitional lenti which has a very, very sharp image of Pennywise. You can see great detail in the clown makeup on his disgusting forehead. :joy:

I wouldn’t mind discless editions. I never use any of the discs anyway. I keep them sealed. I always buy the amaray or a seperate steelbook.

A second reason is, like mentioned before, some editions are without an UHD disc. Why would I watch a normal blu-ray when there’s an UHD?

@cooey a few questions if I can my good man.

1) Will there be a GB
2) What’s the allocation
3) What’s the print run
4) How much will it cost
5) When will the GB go live
6) Will HD Zeta do a premium for the sequel
7) is it one per member
8) do you think it will rain tomorrow
9) any news on any other premium releases from HDZeta
10) will you reply “soon”
11) any news on any premium releases from any other retailer
12) is the world round
13) am I getting on your nerves yet

Thought I’d get in there fast :p

Only way you will get one of these is if you are willing to join a few GB’s out there that are HUB ship only and where you get ripped off in the process, disc or no disc. Oh, and you will wait and wait and wait and wait and wait for it to be delivered to you.

Well that’s depressing lol

I genuinely don’t understand why HDZeta never update HDN. Just don’t get it. Very odd behaviour

Would of been interested in this and one of the Blade runner lentis

If all else fails there will be a good few on eBay ... as the same type of GB’s facilitate just that... the term “x3 copies please” means nothing for some. I prefer to call it M.T - Money Talks.
