Best film of the year, easily.

I would say it is NOT the best and it is NOT the worst. It is an average film in my view with strong and weak points. Maybe a B- rating from me. Type of film you can watch while doing other things. Not sure how much replay value it has though.

No sir. I am a true cinephile and have seen hundreds of new films this year. Out of those, none have taken my breath away (for the right reasons) like Lucy. I don't want this to be taken the wrong way but at its core it is dealing with very deep philosophical themes which I understand are not a lot of people's bag, but for me it was RIGHT on the money, and then some.
