Got mine with no damage, they seemed to double wrap it in bubble wrap which is appreciated.
Lovely steel, very pleased!

I got mine today, no damage ... sorta. The spine on this feels like its bulging towards the middle and when you look at from the back you can see the spine curving (ill try and take a picture)

I tried to take a picture of it.

Can someone who has this have a look if the paint job is like mine and grainy and blotchy on her arm/outfit.
I'm looking back at other people pictures and it looks smooth but I'm not sure if it's the angle it's taken. Here's mine anyway

I'm guessing that no one else has this problem? If anyone can check the actual steelbook to see if the colouring of the arm is blotchy or a clean image I would greatly appreciate it.

Mine is perfect...looks like you have magnified the image to a much larger size? Is it still noticable at original size?...

Look at these photos. They are further away but if you zoom in you can see the picture is blotchy. It's how it is seen when I look at the actual steelbook
Just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem or if it's a problem with just mine

^^ I see what u mean now. yes, looks a little washed out. I've seen this before on steelbooks- don't know how they manufacture them but looks like the paint has begun to run out in the printing process somehow...I'd still take that over any dings or dents tho- but of course the item should be 100% mint...maybe they can exchange it?

Cheers for that. I thought the other pics I've seen didn't have what I have but I also know some people really clean up the pics here so was just checking. Oh yeah I'll sort out a replacement. Nearly every steelbook I buy from them has to go back usually due to chips/ scratches or dents. Hercules and pinnochio were the first in a while that I didn't need to send back. Just annoying service because they will now get back to me roughly Wednesday and then a week for zavvi to recieve from when I send it. Recently had to take partial refunds over the limited ones that I receive damaged.

Recieved my copy of this in mint condition yesterday.
Yet another great looking disney steel, Zavvi really have turned things around recently.

I tried to take a picture of it.

How does it look from the spine, it looks as though it might not be clipped on properly. You could try removing the back panel and seeing if it is bent or wasn't attached correctly.

Well, I guess my luck couldn't have lasted forever. Having had perfect steels recently, even in the crappy packaging, this one has arrived with a dent in the top!!

Received mine today with a couple of paint defects, one on the front below the charging Huns and the other on the opening side near the top.
Looks amazing otherwise

I ordered two copies of Mulan as it's one of my favourite Disney films as i was paranoid about getting a damaged copy. Instead I end up with two A1 copies.
I'll say it again. Easily one of the most beautiful steelbooks I've come across and that's for someone who has some of the Chinese steelbooks. More please.
What I love about this is that I'm now getting all the Disney classics the way I want them, in steelbooks. I'd love to see some of their live action classics Like 20 Thousand Leagues under the Seas or Darby O' Gill but I doubt that'll happen. Now lets have Sleeping Beauty, the Lion King and Snow White........

i'm so pissed right now...got 3 steelbooks from Zavi & the only one with damage is Mulan!!! Damn it!! LOL just my luck! A big ding on front...tried to fix it but no luck. I hate Zavi!!!
