This Fox UK re release looks lot better than the Play.com release in terms of artwork in my opinion

The inside artwork is a lot better than the Play.com
All of the Artwork with this release looks better to me
Both are great looking steelbooks
As an Alien Fan having both releases is an easy decision

It is really nice @paulboland as you said, but i love the play.com version.

It was one of (if not the first) 3D steel i bought. Nothing would would make me replace it.

And if i remember correctly - i think the play.com version was 2-3 pound more expensive than this one, but back then it was a brand new release. I dont think these 3d steels are priced very well. Should be at most 17.99 me thinks.

Pre-ordered, though I stil have my doubts about keeping it. I did some counting yesterday and I kinda got scared when I saw how much money went into my SB collection It's a rather expensive hobby. Oh well....YOLO

Looks good but has to be a thick matte finish. The back looks dark and dull and I fear streaky matte finish is gonna mess it up further

Raimi, I frightened myself too the other day - rough count of my Uk steels came to 408, with a shedload on pre-order(about 40). As there's only 535 ish and I've deliberately missed some - Toxic Avenger and other such trash - that's pretty complete and a lot of dosh tied up!

That said, it's kind of like rebuilding cars - you should never count up how much it actually costs - just decide if your'e going to do it and get on with it!

Really hope the back isn't as dull as the mock up. I'm gonna hold out, if it sells out I might nab one when the cancellations go up. Really wish there was a 2D only option for those of us that can't stand 3D and shouldn't have to pay 3D prices. My blu Ray cost £3 lol £19.99 is a bit much. I wonder where the other 1000 copies are

Not that I've found, but there is a full list of UK Steelbook releases at www.bluraysteelbooks.co.uk

It's not entirely accurate as titles such as The Killing Fields are still listed; but it is the most complete source I know of.

I maintain a complete list at another site. I did think about doing something similar here but with over 600 titles announced or released to date, it would be too much work.

No. I maintain the list at avforums but I can't link it here. I suspect they are very similar though as it seems the person who created the list at the site you linked has lifted the majority of it.
