Not a fan of that artwork at all, too dull. If this is matte it would look awful.
This artwork isn't final so who knows. Might get something different for those that don't like it.
That said, if you're waiting for final artwork, just get your pre order in just in case as being 3D at Zavvi, it'll likely sell out before release. Can always cancel later down the road.
Wanted a fully loaded for this one personally so will likely get on HDZ or Manta depending on package.

I would recommend pre order this and wait for final artwork to be shown to decide to keep your order or not
Usually when they have Final Artwork TBC printed on the mock ups
The actual artwork ends up being different

I'd normally agree but it's very rare that they go to the trouble of mocking up the front back and inside of the Steelbook.

Why bother going to the trouble of designing front, rear and inside artwork not to use them?
If it was just the front cover art showing I would agree with you.
But both sites are showing the complete 3 designs.
There has been other UK releases with the retailers websites showing inside artwork and front artwork but got changed by release date to completely different artwork
These also had Final Artwork TBC on the photos
All UK websites have Front/Back and Inside Artwork shown at the moment with red text Final Artwork TBC
Artwork TBC ... but complete w/ back and insides makes it seem a WWA done deal ... personally don't object to the golden egg artwork - seems to be one of the least familiar images with only the S. Korean poster showing a solo egg shape:-
Would have preferred one of the more colourful posters on the front such as this IMAX .. or this retro look design as an alternative:-

As we know retro look steelbooks not always successful ... the most recent coming in for some stick = WARGAMES.
Steelbook mimicking one or other of those 1980s film posters (BttF, MATRIX etc.) seems unlikely ... but that said the official poster created by Paul Shipper is apparently loaded with iconic images and references to films of the period "hidden in plain sight" ... particularly films from the 1980s:-
1) The Iron Giant
2.) A Gundam:-
3) Art3mis dressed as Laura Croft from TOMB RAIDER
4) The DeLorean from BACK TO THE FUTURE
5) Red-pulsating light from KNIGHT RIDER
6) Wade posed as Marty in BACK TO THE FUTURE
7) Han Solo’s trousers from STAR WARS
8) A Skeletor type creature
9) Star Wars type ship
10) An Eighties monster truck
11) Space Invaders T-shirt
12) Wade’s raised arm and glove are like Judd Nelson in THE BREAKFAST CLUB
Some posters from other territories make the Paul Shipper design look restrained by comparison .. with every pop reference you can think of thrown in:-
For a glow-in-the-dark slipcover there's this:-
