I'm not going to buy any copy of RoboCop until they remaster it, which I hope will happen when the remake comes out. StudioCanal did it for Verhoeven's Total Recal, MGM/Fox should do it for RoboCop.

Lol, people making excuses not to buy a steelbook that's now OOP. The quality of the transfer whilst not perfect is still a huge improvement over the DVD, just like many other releases.

It's a hugeeeeeeeeeeeee improvement over an overwatched quality recorded off the television VHS version of the film... that's the last time I saw Robocop. So the blu-ray for me is fine for now. Love the steelbook.

So for me it's a nice addition to the collection, especially at around £11!

There's no doubt about it the Blu-ray certainly looks clearer, sharper and more detailed than the DVD version!

It's hideous, dull matte finish and standard embossing. Oh, and artwork that isn't even from the same movie.

Fortunately I can make a couple of quid on ebay as it's gone up in value, but it's not staying on my shelf.
