With trade-wide releases like this it's normal for retailers to be offered further allocations near the release date if stock is still available at the distributor. I think Amazon Japan's initial allocation was quite small, so they've been able to secure a top-up quantity. The same thing happens with Amazon in other countries too.

And yes, no longer quite such a rare and mythical title now. Bad news for all the Japanese re-sellers.

If you're logged in, go to your account settings > manage address book and you'll be seeing (screenshot), choose "add international address" and you're good to go
