The seller sold this at a very fair price, IMO. So he's a Class Act in my book. For all I know he had 5 copies and wanted to help a ninja out at a fair price, so he may be up for a Act of Valor instead of Act of Treason lol

Think I paid £13 or so for this few months ago at the bay. Thought I was lucky but found another one sell for £11 the week after. There were quite a few of them that popped up at a starting price of £10 but all of them ended without any bids. Sounds sad but that is how it has been for few months.

Main reason is that it's an HDN Exclusive so will be especially popular here, but you should also bear in mind that many ninjas on here played a part in creating the slip, art cards, numbered cards, sticker, sorting out the steelbook etc... it was a real team effort by this forum which has been at the forefront of the SteelBook collecting hobby from the early days and has been instrumental in so many other exclusives released worldwide. So when HDN got their first exclusive it was a big deal for many collectors

Still got mine, and will be keeping it even if I ever have to sell my entire collection for whatever reason. I don't care if its worth drops to a measly penny... this steelbook will still mean more to me than any of the "grails" out there.

But you are only valuing this in money terms which I think is detracting from the overall picture

I have 2 copies. One of my copies has a slip which says 'zoneism' on it. Unless I get very famous (and probably die), or someone is named zoneism at birth and coincidentally becomes a steelbook collector, then it is not really going to appeal to anyone looking to add to their collection because it is so bespoke to myself. But I value this copy in my collection higher than almost every other item I own because of sentimental reasons and its significance to me and this hobby.

The other copy I own is not bespoke to me but I hold it in pretty much the same regard and it also makes up the general set of the HDN exclusive (excluding the customised crackle versions of course).

When I signed up for my copies at the launch of this release I never had any intention of selling them further down the line and also I knew full well that I was jumping in on a part of something pretty unique in the hobby's history. It shouldn't hurt you to see how the value has gone down, as the value was never really that high in the first place given that these were pretty fairly priced for what you got, and the monetary resell value hasn't risen to then have dropped again.

I'm surprised that some ninjas have sold this, but I don't hold it against them in any way because I don't know their reasoning. And I would say that none of them would step forward to moan that they didn't get much money for them when they did sell them, because that's not what this steelbook was all about. No doubt they all gave it a bit more thought as to whether they really wanted to sell their copy than when they have sold other steelbooks from their collection.

To those who still have their original copies, I commend you. To those who have since acquired copies, I congratulate you. To those who helped bring us this exclusive, I salute you.

so I decided to sell the regular one and 1 copy of the HDN one
