I would've posted this in the Play.com thread, but it's locked. Now that Zavvi are producing exclusive Steelbooks, should they release the entire Bond series in Steelbook form?
I would say yes, but in waves, not all in one go. 2 per month would be fair enough at £14.99 or less, and would be epic if they made the artwork on the spines create a 007 image when stacked in order similar to the boxsets over the years
I only want Brosnan's 4 Bond movies:
Golden Eyes 1995
Tomorrow Never Die 1997
The World is not Enough 1999
Die Another Day 2002
The rest are too old, and I don't like Danniel as Bond (sorry )
have said no on the basis there are around 25 ish films and no one would be able to buy all including all there normal steel buying as well, to the average joe just simply not affordable which is unfair.
No, on the basis that the market is already saturated with steel release's, even at £9.99 each, your looking at £230 (23 films) and then SPECTRE will be released and that will be £17+ as a new release on top.
As a UK company which is currenlty the world wide leader in steels, it's only natural that Zavvi put out an awesome special edition of all Bond movies (including NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN).
What he said - plus a nice 30 to 40 page colour booklet with each. All the disc extras, and 007 gun spines across the first twenty as per the original 007 DVDs. Issued one per month.
If Zavvi can't then maybe Film Arena - as part of their Collection. With the full slips they would be quite something.
