Whilst it's a nice effort, I was expecting some embossing on this. Especially for the price. And did they have to stick 'Disney & Lucasfilm' out in the middle of nowhere on the top right hand corner?

The back says 'Enhanced High Definition picture and sound' but it only has Dolby Digital 5.1. At least that's according to the j-card. I haven't opened it yet.....

It is only Dolby Digital 5.1, it is the same the all over the planet, shocking really considering that Clone Wars had a proper HD track.

Compares very favourably to the DVD (GBP 12.99 / GBP 9.99 at Amazon)) and the Amaray (GBP 13.99 / GBP 11.99 at Amazon) and got to be the deal of the week or of the day at least.
Aimed at those like myself who didn't want to buy this with the new STAR WARS 7 steelbook for GBP 34.99 in the recent promotion.

Any excuse to discount things - in this case STAR WARS DAY MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU! lol.
For myself, not complaining.

Just realised that the UK Blu Ray for season 2 is out on Oct 3rd.

It sucks that there's no steelbook for that now

This one was all for nothing if they're not going to be consistent.

That's what irks the most about buying TV series not just as Steelbooks but on Blu-ray. Unless it's something hugely popular they will stop half way through and as a result is an inconsistent collection. Although I wouldn't give up hope for this, Zavvi might catch on at a later date.

The steelbook for season 1 was released Feburary 2016
Season 1 amaray was released in September 2015

Not every Blu-ray release gets a steelbook release same time as an amaray release so it's still possible for season 2 to get a steelbook release early next year
