I don't know if this will be the same for anyone else, but I found I was having issues using my student discount a lot and realised it was my own fault. Every time you go to get a code and click "reveal code" you need to click the get new code thing at the bottom one because it retrieves an old one you've already used or previously had generated until you click that button. Hope this helps!
