Strange how it was remastered into a 4k print, then a 3d transfer made ? Maybe they are listening ? Makes sense ! If only a full 4k transfer was made into a 3d disc, then we would be talking, not sure my 4k/3d tv can show both at the same time or only one or the other (3d or 4k) ? Either way this is very welcome and extra feature's heavy !

It's not possible. 4K UHD 3D simply doesn't exist (on UHD discs) at the moment.

25 quid for a 25 year old film. Oh for the days when Play.com used to do great steelbooks for a tenner ;-)
It's not a re-release of a previous Blu-ray

New remaster video as in 4K scan
The original 35mm negative was scanned and then restored in 4k at Deluxe L.A and then after this was done they done a separate conversion into 3D

The 2D Blu-ray and 3D Blu-ray releases has the remastered video as does the 4K UHD

Play.com days are ages ago and was when Play avoided any VAT payments by been based in the channel islands this was stopped by the UK Government and then caused Play to go out of business

I'm sure everything you are saying is quite correct, but it's still 25 quid for a 25 year old film.
