Thanks for clarifying that mate but FA is the version I'm most looking out for although Nova
do provide great quality looking lentis.

regarding the 'it's nothing personal' tagline I wondered about that; but it's on IMDB at the top of the Terminator 2 taglines. I rather like 'the battle for tomorrow has begun...'

I like this release MUCH more than the Film Arena. Film Arena are 'all about Arnold' whereas Nova have John and Sarah on the back. As for the way HDZeta have been behaving lately....no comment.

I'd love to see T2 in 3d. Titanic was already impressive.

@paulboland
realorfake3d.com here you can see which movies were shot in native 3d and which are converted in post production.

I was just about to post the link to that site for Paul before you beat me to it.

It's a very handy site and you'd be surprised just how many films are STILL being shot in actual 3D.

The Martian being one of the biggest titles.

Would you not prefer video remastered in 4K or 8K and better extras than a 3D conversion
Thanks for the link you can see how much the film studios have dropped doing films in real 3D in the past few years compared to previous years

3D for me is watch one or twice but majority of repeat viewings are in 2D
I even have turned off the 3D on my TV to watch it in 2D with some 3D only Blu-ray Discs
I prefer to watch a film with the best video encode for best picture quality and a Blu-ray with brilliant extras

2D video encode majority of the time is better than 3D in my opinion but yes I did Like Titanic 3D conversion but even with that 3D release repeat viewings I even enjoyed more by turning off the 3D on my TV

You can also see the large drop in the number films been filmed in real 3D compared to previous years

I'm not against 3D Films if it's filmed in real 3D that's better than doing a 2D to 3D conversion
Terminator 2 is a 2D film and 3D conversion is in my opinion not needed but a good 4K or 8K remaster is needed and also to include some better extras

Even Titanic 3D Blu-ray what makes that a very good release is the attention to the overall remaster he done before converted to 3D
In 2D the remaster Blu-ray looks fantastic and better than the previous 2D Blu-ray when you turn off 3D on your TV and watch the 3D Blu-ray in 2D

@paulboland I knew you would underline that they are getting less ;)

And TBH, no I prefer a (good) 3d convertion.
4k Remaster on 1080p is not such a greater experience than to see the same movie in 3d ;), altough the old T2 transfer reallly deserves a remaster.

Edit: I think if this is like Titanic, Cameron will remaster anyway, so everybody should be happy about this release.

Now all we need is The Terminator 3D!!!!! :p ;)

The lenti would certainly be great. But I wish they could do something different than transition between human form and machine like every releases...
