Great looking Steelbook, but could we lose that tag line. It means nothing to the movie TBH.
"Come with me if you want to live" would have been more appropriate.
That is the tag line from the movie and the poster when it was released.
This isn't a new made-up tag line for the steelbook.

You can also see the large drop in the number films been filmed in real 3D compared to previous years

I'm not against 3D Films if it's filmed in real 3D that's better than doing a 2D to 3D conversion
Terminator 2 is a 2D film and 3D conversion is in my opinion not needed but a good 4K or 8K remaster is needed and also to include some better extras

Even Titanic 3D Blu-ray what makes that a very good release is the attention to the overall remaster he done before converted to 3D
In 2D the remaster Blu-ray looks fantastic and better than the previous 2D Blu-ray when you turn off 3D on your TV and watch the 3D Blu-ray in 2D
Some of the best and most successful 3D movies have been conversions. (Most, actually)
Conversions got a bad name because of the Clash of The Titans debacle (they rushed it). But well done conversions (where they take their time to get it right) can be as good, if not better. (When you shoot native 3D, you get "locked-into" the process with very little wiggle room for correction- whereas with conversions, you have much more room for corrections).
I would hazard that with the release of Batman V Superman, the most successful 3D movies are probably 80% converted 3D. (Gravity, BvS, Ant Man, Jurassic World, Mad Max, Star Wars: TFA, Guardians of The Galaxy, CA: Winter Soldier, Avengers 1 & 2, Pacific Rim - all conversions).

yeah, it's more of a MORPH than a transformation. Like his eyes are in the same spot, but it goes to the side then reappears in the right spot. It should just transition from one pic to the next, not a series of weird morphs. Even the chin is off, the endoskeleton's chin is farther down than Arnold's.

I still don't get why James Cameron bothering doing a 3D conversion of this film it's not a 3D film in the first place
I would rather see 2D release with a 4K remaster with both standard Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray Disc releases with superior video and new better extras that have been on previous releases

3D is on it's way out anyway with a lot of film studios dropping 3D releases completely
Some 2D films are only get a limited showing in 3D in some cinemas now and these are up converted 2D to 3D anyway

With 4K Blu-ray starting to be launched
Over time 4K Blu-ray TV and 4K Blu-ray players will come down in price and will become more mainstream
4K Blu-ray Discs the films wont be in 3D but yes some 4K Blu-ray players will be backward compatible to play Standard 3D Blu-ray Discs
It will yes take a bit more time for customers to upgrade to 4K Blu-ray compared to upgrading from DVD to Standard Blu-ray but it will eventually happen

This is just my opinion but I really don't see the point of up converting 2D films into 3D when the majority watch films in 2D even when it's a 3D release

Some Films yes have looked good in 3D but most of these were films that was filmed in 3D in the first place and some animated films that was 2D to 3D conversion

What was the last live action mainstream Film to be filmed with 3D Cameras and what year

James Cameron is a huge proponent of 3D. So he will push for it but I am worried he will change the aspect ratio which means we won't get the chance to watch the remastered feature in OAR.
