Love Plain Archive, but having not yet seen the movie (only trailers) I'm not yet sold.... :/

paul thomas anderson movies are not made for everyone and often polarizing the audiences but also earning high critical acclaim.
in my opinion he is one of the greatest filmmakers of his generation, always strikingly cinematic and emotional. so if you liked his other movies this would be worth a try (Hard Eight, Boogie Nights, Magnolia, Punch-Drunk Love, There Will Be Blood, Inherent Vice)

Loved Magnolia and Boogie Nights, didn't get on with Punch Drunk Love though so maybe that's holding me back. Really must get around to watching There Will Blood - had that on my Netflix list for an age.

There Will Be Blood is the one best movies I've ever seen and the best Paul Thomas Anderson film . Daniel Day-Lewis does incredible job. Go see it, it's amazing film.

Thank you very much!

I agree PTA is one of the best of his generation....loved Magnolia, Boogie Nights (probably his best and most accessible), Punch Drunk Love, There Will Be Blood....but I did not like The Master...just didn't understand it, I think, and I would give the benefit of doubt to PTA as he is definitely at a higher plane of thinking than me!!

I still bought the Full Slip, so will give it a second try sometime....I doubt it will grow on me, though....

Funny that you think a movie about the porn industry is PTA' s most accessible film.

They usually give an idea of numbers when stock is running low don't they?
Been hovering over the lenti for an age, decided to bag the full slip as soon as it came back in stock.

Okay so I've finally got my first PA release and I think I've caught the bug

I've been after this for a while and managed pick this up recently.

I'm very impressed, I adore the lenti, the back art on the slip, the Steelbook is stunning art, solid and lovely gloss.
Love the postcards too and the stickers. Especially the material on the PA sticker
I love how sturdy the slip box is, I kinda wish nova, kimchi and FA were a bit more thicker like this. I much prefer the slip box lenti that slides to the left instead of on top

I'll defo be in for fox catcher, old boy and Sicario now

Sorry for digging this up after two years :D but I decided to give it a go and grabbed a good deal on bay. Gonna hunt down more PA editions continuously, these guys are special, have a unique and great movie picks and of course beautiful slips. Plus most of the time even better price on secondary market than RRP, managed to get all those three editions together almost for the price of one Blufans or HDzeta Interstellar lol

Always loved this artwork/slip, gonna open it later today. My three PA exclusives so far, looove those fullslips :oohyeah::drool::cigar:
