I hope your right and its like the previous Fox Releases on general sale
from Amazom Zavvi etc

Its also strange that aliens was a zavvi exclusive and alien 3 is not

Wow, never thought this would get a steelbook. .
One of my all time favorites. . I the artwork so excited about this.. I've pre ordered it but I'm hoping someone else will be selling it as well, and cheaper too. never bought anything from fox direct so I'd rather deal with someone I know to do good packaging.
