I've been ordering from Zavvi ever since I joined HDN in 2013 and I've been lucky so far with every package... until today!

Looks like the Royal Mail had a hand in that unless the box is undamaged and Zavvi packed it like that !?
As I see you are not in the U.K. scratch the Royal Mail bit and replace with the courier of your choice.

Arrived today.... nice steelbook. Ordered with Cinderella on the BOGOF offer.... Unfortunately, Cinderella arrived with huge dent on front... and so the battle commences!!!!!!

Its 100% embossed
Embossed = raised areas
The border is debossed like all borders are which is pushed down into the steelbook to create a border in this case the border is circle around the tree and within this tree border area you have the Text Title Princess/Frog embossed and parts of the tree branches embossed and also the princess and the frog images are embossed
These embossed images are raised areas
Debossed = image is pushed down into the material (Example Dawn of the Planet of the Apes Steelbook Title is debossed)
Embossed = image raised against the background within a border this border can be square/circle/rectangular or a mix of each

Had a right result on eBay, got this brand new & sealed inc postage for a tenner!! They only put the title as Blu Ray Steelbook so I'm not surprised it didn't get a lot of bids.
My girls will be pleased!

If someone from Zavvi has been reading this thread he/she will have seen how angry many were that this particular brand new release was included in the BOGOF so soon after release - this could be the reason this title was removed from the BOGOF - and reported the strength of feeling to his / her superiors.
I paid the pre-order price but still have sympathy for those that did not pre-order and just missed the BOGOF.

The BOGOF may be all the returns though!!!I Got it along with Cinderella on this offer, and Cinderella was full of dents and bent, so I hope they are not unloading all their damaged/returned stock!!! I've had the usual to try and replace it... after 6 days, they have said to return it to get replacement.
My steelbook of Princess and the Frog was purchased as part of BOGOF and arrived in mint condition as did my other Disney Steelbook Brother Bear which was released months ago
Both steelbooks were mint/new and not stock previously sold
Problem is, you can't reply to keep an email trace, you need to copy it and raise another query. I can't be bothered, so may go to the €bay.
I'm even more annoyed as Emperor's New Groove and Brother Bear have gone up to £24.99... above RRP. I'm disgusted to be honest.
So Thursday, you could get both for £19.99, now it's £44.98 lol. Changing prices willy-nilly during a promotion is pretty damn low.
Oh I agree, they really know how to shaft their customers. You can pick up Brither Bear etc relatively cheaper on fleabay though. Many waiting on a national treasure dispatch but they haven't done it yet as someone mentioned here on HDN that if you use a code that wasn't commonly free to use by the public, they don't ship out straight away. I don't think they are holding on to it on purpose as an up yours to me, but I have a feeling that they might cancel it as I used a welcome code to get 10% off. That's not my problem, that's theirs, but they have a horrible habit of not honouring things sometimes. Do you remember when they put Tarzan down to £7.99? They cancelled every order at that price, and although they don't legally have to honour that price because they hadn't sent the goods out, most companies would as a show of good will. Not Zavvi though, says a lot about their company really.
