Based on Robert Kirkman’s groundbreaking comic book series, The Walking Dead is a five part episodic Adventure Horror game that will be available for digital download this spring for all major gaming platforms.

Telling the story of a new group of survivors as they struggle to flee the horror of Atlanta and the surrounding communities consumed by the undead, The Walking Dead offers players the chance to experience the very first days of the apocalypse.

Dan Connors, Telltale co-founder and CEO said:​

Telltale has always believed in sharing and interacting with our fans as much as possible as we head towards the launch of a game and Playing Dead is an exciting evolution of that process. I don’t think any other developer or publisher has created anything quite like this before and we really hope that people will enjoy it.

Episode 2: "Starved For Help" will land on Xbox Live tomorrow, Wednesday, June 27th. PC and PS3 versions of the second of five downloadable episodes will arrive on Friday, June 29th. Those dates are international with the exception of PS3; European PS3 users will have their own date to be announced later.

Just finished Episode 2, man was that INTENSE!!!! Deuce its worth the wait!!!!

Completed Episode 2 last night. It was plagued with the usual TellTale glitches (freezing galore, especially), but it was sooooo good. The story was excellent. Two hours of intense, on the edge-of-your-seat gameplay. I called what was going to happen right from the beginning, but that didn't chance the fact of the matter that this was one suspenseful ride! Hopefully the next episode arrives sooner next time.
