It is great to see such an in demand title finally being released. I wish Paramount would start doing different artwork on the slip, it's a bit pointless if it is identical to the Steelbook and the ratings logos need to go as well. I'm sure the Steelbook will be nice enough on its own though.

2000 copies? Can you count, suckers? I say this steelbook will be ours....if you can count... No preorders, just live stock, ain't nobody scalping nobody..... That is a miracle, and miracles are the way things ought to be....

Can you dig it!

Again looks like we are to be denied the Theatrical Cut (n) which many prefer and that we will end up with the exact same 1 BD25 disc as inside the 2008 Amaray release :(

Steelbook artwork an improvement over the old Amaray artwork and I see that this time they've just replicated the original classic poster design by JARVIS:-

Every time a film I like gets a slip cover it's the same artwork as the one of the front while films I don't care for get different artwork

Film doesn't float my boat in the same way that "Assault on Precinct 13" or "Death Wish" does.

Personally I have never seen the director's cut, and still don't own a blu ray copy, so director's cut is a step in the dark for me.

Oddly I would never put the three films in the same thought.
Assault on Precinct 13 (which I have on pre-order) Death Wish and The Warriors are all classics to me.
I couldn't possibly compare them, not because comparisons are odious - which they certainly are (ty Lydgate ) but primarily because they are aimed at entirely different moods, if not actual audiences.

So happy this is finally coming. Amazed its taken this long. Expect this to sell our FAST.
Now if someone released a steel for Sexy Beast & an English subtitled Pusher trilogy and I swear this collection would almost feel complete.

I bought the Twilight Time edition of Sexy Beast but would be interested in a steelbook - slipcover of Ben Kingsley being a grade A a-hole would be cool

Kingsley scares the sh*t out of me in that film. He's too good.

When he barges in his bedroom while Ray's sleeping. Damn
