I find it quite disappointing that this mediocre film is getting two steelbooks in the UK when tons of really great films don't even have a single steelbook release yet (Edge of Tomorrow is looking less and less likely now). On the bright side, at least for once I don't have to pay extra for a 3D disc that I have no use for.

Well, i've pre-ordered as I don't have a 3D tv, (YET), so its saved me a couple of quid. Not liking the lack of inside artwork though .

This steelbook looks like a general worldwide release.

So the news about NA release being exclusive is BS?

No-the Steelbook is exclusive to the retailer as always. Another territory can use artwork unless the studio agrees to only allow an artwork to be used as WEA artwork for one 1 retailer. Still, the studio always has discretion to use a formerly issued WEA artwork in another area-it's their final decision.
