They buy a cheap Chinese made all region player. And no i'm not kidding. You can get seriously cheap all region players in America for next to nothing. They are never advertised as remember the american authorities frown on any type of all region players and note that 99.9% of all Americans don't use or need all region players. Also most play stations are region free. And also Panasonic machines have a simple hack to get around regional coding. (Not telling look it up!)

Sorry for the moronic question but if this title is region 2, how does someone from north america play it? thanks
Tremors Blu-ray is Universal Pictures release it's region free

Zavvi and Amazon websites don't go by what region code listing say most times is not accurate

USA Region A and UK Region B Playstation 3 and 4 are not region free if Blu-ray disc is Region B locked or Region A locked
Region free discs yes will work but that's nothing to do with the playstation itself be it USA or UK models
Playstation 4 is only region free for games discs as these are not region locked

Playstation
Blu-ray Films Discs will depend on if Disc itself is region free or if Region Locked

Panasonic it's some USA Blu-ray players that have the simple hack but the UK and European Panasonic players don't have that simple hack
You need to use special firmware that you have to pay for from a specialist website forum for the UK and European Panasonic Blu-ray players do make them region free or purchase from a specialist store that has made them region free using special firmware or the chip method

Tremors Blu-ray is region free

I have two Panasonic UK blu-ray players that are region free but the simple hack using the remote control does work on them on 99.9% of discs. Saves me the bother of having to power down and relaunch the player for a specific region.

This disc is utter tripe. Filled with DNR and EE to the max.

Sadly doesn't surprise me. I do wish steelbooks were not just a rehash of the normal blu-ray disc most of the time. It would be nice to see a message on the back alone the lines of "This is a new remastered edition". To be fair to Arrow they have done a few exclusive zavvi steelbook releases which were remastered. I still treasure and enjoy my special edition laserdisc so I will be doing a close comparison to see the DNR damage..... The DNR has always surprised me to why it is used. It does nothing to enhance the disc and only causes damage. I still haven't forgiven EON for doing a great job on the Bond films and then screwing up Goldeneye.......

I have UK Panasonic Blu ray player purchased direct from Panasonic themselves it can only be made region free if updated with third party firmware
Remote hack won't work unless altered firmware is installed

Where did you purchase your 2 UK Panasonic Region B Blu-ray players from as some specialist stores sell these with altered firmware installed and work using remote hack

Lot of discs are also region free even when listed as Region A

Panasonic USA official firmware for Region A players has this remote hack as standard on some but not all models without the need to use altered firmware they just don't advertise this in the manual

Wow..... didn't expect this to turn up today. Nice glossy finish, a tad boring on the back, but I've seen a lot worse. Still a bit much at £15.99 if you ask me, but really enjoy the movie and not got it on blu ray.

Just wish it was the poster art.
Love the film - the art is pretty bad.
I agree, the movie has an awesome original poster. The CGI art on the steelbook doesn't fit nor does it give the movie any justice. It's a movie with practical effects, slamming a quick CGI art makes this look like a early 2000's remake with ****** CGI (sorry for language).
In this case i'll keep my Blu-ray amaray movie collection of all 'Tremors' movies.

Yup mine turned up too. I'm going to have to watch this when I get some downtime as it's one of my all time favorites

Have to admit that that this doesn't look half as bad in hand as I thought it would. I almost like it! Poster art would have been better but this could have been a lot worse.
