Release date: August 2014

The set will include:
1) Blufans exclusive steelbook
2) each steelbook and the boxset will have a matching number
3) about 10 or 15 medals
4) photo booklet
5) the set is Limited to 600 copies only

An important notice to EU members!!!!!! Update: (Jan 7, 2014)

Due to misinformation by the studio, the region code for UP release is wrong.

The correct information for UP 3 disc release should include:
3D BD region free (A,B and C)
2D BD region (A and C only)
Bonus Materials BD region (A and C only)

Definitely got my eye on that boxset - this was the first movie that made me cry in the theater. It was too close to reality for me. So only having soup and bread for the rest of the year

Gotta be honest my friend, I wasn't able to re-watch this classic until recently because the first 10 minutes of the movie were just too much for me... they were exactly like our reality (Miss Drum and I), but a big thank to science+nature, now I can say that we can watch this again but as a family this time!!! :movie:

Damn the collectors boxset is beautiful may have to order this. depending on price i may be willing to push the boat out to get it. I normally dont go for blu fans because the cost is ludicrous, & i know the set will be expensive but if its reasonably expensive i may actually get it.its really beaitiful.

Latest on Blufans is that its scheduled for April. I haven't read anything new in the few hours since that was announced.

I heard this 'nonsense' from a Chinese friend who has gotten me Blufans releases in the past, so I have no reason to doubt him.

I am however hoping he's wrong as I would love it to still happen

Sorry, maybe nonsense was too extreme a word to use.

Blufans posted their release schedule for the next few months, at around noon today (China time). It mentions Up boxset is scheduled for April release.

I only repost here on HDN what I read on Blufans. Maybe your friend has insider information, and the cancellation is not announced yet. But, it would be silly to announce an April release date, and then to cancel it a few hours later.
