2) How old were you when you first managed to watch the films/play the games and where?

An awesome giveaway!!

This is my most memorable scene from the games, scared the crap out of me!!

I remember playing the first game when it came out on the PS1 and it scared me so much I could never finish it.

The films I saw as they were released, and when I first saw the first movie I hated it but the more times I've seen it, it has grown on me and the RE series has become a favourite franchise of mine

I was 26 and working in a video store when the first game came out. I remember playing it that first night and getting really creeped out by that scene!

When I was 37 I watched Resident Evil Afterlife on blu-ray at home. This was the first time I watched a Resident Evil movie.

So many amazing memories of RE from these pictures, I first played RE1 on PS1 in 1997 I was 7 years old and it scared the hell out of me but I still loved it ever since.

Remember playing the first Resident Evil when I was about 11, I couldn't even get past the first hallway for a month let alone making it past the first dog scare, which made me run behind the sofa screaming, amazing game.

I played this game for the first time on my PS1 soon after its release all the way back in 1996 as teenager at home on what was I think was 35" CRT TV a pretty big screen at the time (how times change). I spent many an hour playing this over my summer break from school and it took me forever to make it through the final Tyrant battle- as I had used virtually all of the ammo in the game and had a knife and a few pistol rounds left... didn't realize you could just buy time and end up with the rocket launcher.
