I opened mine and it had many scratches on the back. Jack Reacher has glossy finish and didn't come with these issues :(

Sadly most if not all were like this. There were some quality control issues and blufans I believe is addressing that now.

Nice low number. I keep hoping I'll get a low number. Maybe one day

Excuse my ignorance but why is it so important to have a low number?
It is not like the steelbook is any different other than the number. In fact,
a higher numbered one may be superior to the low number one for other
reasons, like condition for example.

Would you rather be the 1st person to date that hottie in your town, or the 5000th...

For me, no reason other than personal preference. For others there may be different reasons, or they might not care at all.

I just prefer having low numbers on SBs, would love anything under 20, and would give my left testicle for a number 1 :)

Absolutely no difference. Collectors will always find something to make their copy special from the rest.

It all depends how many people had sex with the steelbook first.

What matters is how many of them used shrinkwrap.

But seriously, I don't want to date a steelbook that has had 5,000 guys over it. This makes no sense.

PS: Received my Wreck-It Ralph with 3D slip on October 9, got something like #342/2000 - I can't check as I don't have it with me, I'm not sure of the number anymore, though I'm sure of the one for the Tangled lenticular I received a week ago and that's #945/1300.

Checked my slip today to see what number I have, turns out to be #0034/2000. That's pretty cool to me, I think that is the lowest number of any numbered collectible I have

Wouldn't number 2000/2000 be the really special one since it was the last one made? Think about it, no more being made after that one. Last of its kind. Sort of like the last Twinkie when people thought they would never be produced again.
