Funimation has announced that Fullmetal Alchemist The Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa will be coming to Blu-ray on September 29th. The movie is the direct continuation of the highly acclaimed anime series Fullmetal Alchemist (Hagane No Renkinjutsushi). Personally I am glad to see this come to Blu-ray and hope that the rest of the series get an HD treatment as well. If you are a fan of anime you know this series is a must!

Do not watch the film before finishing the series as you will most likely get confused. The film does continue where the series left off. There is no technical specifications or supplements yet, but we’ll keep you posted!
