Clive Barker’s Book of Blood

The Original Director’s cut of CLIVE BARKER’s BOOK OF BLOOD will be released by Lightning Home Entertainment on Blu-ray disc and DVD this fall.  The title will be distributed by Lionsgate Home Entertainment.  Both formats street on September 29, 2009. Based on the short stories “The Book of Blood” and “On Jerusalem Street”, BOOK OF BLOOD is the latest on-screen adaptation of Mr. Barker’s works.

  • Also included is a “Behind the Scenes” featurette running approximately 20 minutes.

BOOK OF BLOOD stars Sophie Ward and Jonas Armstrong, and is directed by John Harrison.   When a paranormal expert (Ward) recruits “medium” Simon McNeal (Armstrong) to investigate a supposedly haunted house, Simon winds up as a conduit for souls on their way to the afterlife –who carve their stories on his body as a living book of blood.
