So most people in the crazy world of Blu know that Braveheart and Gladiator both dropped on Blu-ray this past Tuesday, did you pack any up? Let’s hear it did you grab one or both, or are you still planning on getting them soon?

I got Gladiator, I wasn't too pleased with the PQ of the Theatrical cut, however, the extended cut looks a bit better. The AQ on Gladiator is awesome!
To me each film has it's own Picture, No two films are alike.
I was able to get the last copes of Gladiator and Braveheart at my local Samsclub.
Braveheart
I have watched Braveheart all the way to the end, I've never seen it in theaters or on TV, before now. The best way to the BD version of Braveheart is simply WOW! Colors and land, were simply breath taking, they were so accurate to the point where i keeped checking when the film was made. the film brilliantly takes you to the year in the story. Audio was excellent, only complaint were the scenes in the rain, won't say any more. You'll be extremely happy you bout it.
Gladiator
Like we all know Gladiator's BD comes with cuts of the film. both of which are different.
Cut one (Theatrical)
I had the luck of seeing the film. Although I was young my aunt still had to cover my eyes during a seen at the beginning. but none the less, The BD version, gives us a picture that is by far better, then the past DVD releases, but the Blu-ray still manages to give you that theater like presentation that you saw in theaters. by far this is the best you're going to get the theatrical version of Gladiator. Yes there is grain here and there, but what I noted is that so far the grain only appears during the slow motion scenes. But you saw the grain even in the theater. To me I'm fine with it. noticeable…yes! detracting…only if you let it.
Cut two (Extended)
I have not watched the 2nd cut of gladiator. only the ending, two which, I will have to say is by far, like Horhay said, looks better, I think excellent. Detales of I think Djimon Hounsou hand look, so real that you could touch it. the dirt or sand look great.
Audio for both cuts of the film have excellent AQ, I'm very pleased with both for Gladiator and Braveheart. Worth you money:)
