Paramount have announced they will bring Forrest Gump to blu-ray on November 2nd 2009. The film starring Tom Hanks was a worldwide smash hit when it was released in 1994. It also picked up 6 Academy Awards including best picture.
Forrest Gump will include a 5.1 DTS HD Soundtrack and 1080p MPEG-4 AVC codec. The set will come with Two disc’s. The second disc will have a ton of extras which are yet to be announced.
