Walt Disney Studio Home Entertainment has officially announced ‘Beauty & The Beast’ for Blu-ray release on October 5th, that’s 7 weeks ahead of the DVD release. This will be a Blu-ray + DVD combo. Just like the previous Diamond Edition releases, Beauty & The Beast will include a brand new 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track that is sure to delight viewers. Judging by their previous releases this is sure to be top notch release since Disney always strives for excellent quality. Currently there are no word of the exact supplements other than a quick mention of “behind the scenes features, deleted scenes, enhanced music tracks, immersive games and more” in the official press release.
